Born in Winnipeg, August 30, 1922. Enlisted Q. O. C. Highlanders of Canada "B" Coy. C.A.S.F., H-19772, September 2nd 1939. Transferred to the Winnipeg Grenadiers in 1941.

Married wife Florence in Winnipeg, December 1, 1945
Discharged March 25, 1946. Moved to Port Arthur, Ontario (now called Thunder Bay) to take up employment
Died of heart attack, age 31, December 31, 1953. Buried in soldiers' plot, Riverside cemetery, Port Arthur, Ontario. (Grave site photo of his son James and daughter Gail)
