Hong Kong Gravestone Discs
If you happened to be at the HKVCA general meeting at the convention this past August, you know another chapter for the veterans needs to be taken on by our association. There are three or four of us that plan to take on the placement of HK gravestone discs on each Hong Kong Veterans grave. We have spoken to Phil Doddridge about our desire to see this through and he will be our guide.
With the media surrounding the memorial wall, we believe this notice is important- especially for the newest members.
We are trying to get all our "p's and q's" together, get some steps in place, some parameters to work within. We want to have our information in place so no matter where the contact comes from; the placement of the gravestone disc process can be followed thru consistently as possible. We believe our role is to undertake the administration of the HKVCA gravestone discs. This might include contacting a family member, a cemetery, and the placement of the disc on the gravestone.
