Memorial Wall News: From Derrill Henderson: The planned ceremonies at the Memorial Wall for 15 August were cancelled due to a torrential downpour with thunder and lightning. We drove any of our people wishing to see the Memorial over and some got out and walked about when the rain slowed up periodically.
Thank goodness, everyone that came was satisfied, but three weeks of solid work just went down the drain. Some of the invited guests circulated at the hotel, so those that wished, got to speak with them. CBC News article.

Nathan Greenfield's new book on the Battle of Hong Kong and the survivors' subsequent years in POW camps added to our reading list.

Memorial Wall virtually complete! Read the latest! See the Photos!

Has each Hong Kong vet received the medals to which they are entitled, including the Hong Kong Bar? Check out our medals page.
