Died peacefully at home on May 31, 2009. James (Jim) was born in
Campbellton, N.B. on July 21, 1919. Jim is survived by his sisters Allie
(Howard) of Toronto, and Maxine (White) and by his brother Alexander
(Sandy), both of Tide Head, N.B. He is also survived by nieces and
nephews Sandra (Murray), John, Jean (Graham), Gerald, Phyllis, Sherry,
Maxine, Jeannie Howard and Susan White.
Jim served with the Royal Rifles of Canada in Hong Kong and was interned in Hong Kong and later in Japan. On his return to Canada, he attended Queens University and on graduation joined Canada Packers. He was Secretary of the Hong Kong Veterans Association of Ontario.
