About Our Image Gallery

This site is designed to be the "picture" part of the main HKVCA web site. As you take a look around, you'll see lots of photos (old and new), scans of newspaper and magazine articles, and historical documents.

NOTE: there is a second gallery containing scans of the Winnipeg Free Press and Tribune covering events of Dec '41 until Aug '42. This gallery is separate due to its size - images are about 4MB each, so may be slow to download.

Using the Gallery

To save time, click on the "Help" link that you'll find on the master index page. This will open up a window, showing you all the features of JAlbum (the programme used to create the Gallery), allowing you to:
