Greetings to all
A hearty Thanks to all who travelled to Ottawa and made the convention a huge success.

I made a point of asking some Veterans and their families if they had any interesting photographs they might like to share with us in the gallery.
Many said yes but were unable to use or access a computer scanner. Some had not seen the picture gallery on this website.

I was able to show some B/W group shots from the website to a veteran in the memorabilia room. As it was he had been in the very same camp as my Dad (sendai#2) and mentioned several things I was not aware of.
A wonderfull and poignant moment shared with a very special individual.
Thats what pictures can do when we share them!

If you are concerned about losing ownership, public domain or copyright issues, simply place property of ........... ........... on the pic before scanning them. It will appear on the photostat and no one can reproduce it without your claimer on it.
A good opportunity for a grandchild to show off their tek skills.

Please keep the gallery growing, its a vital part of this website, enjoyed by many who visit here.

I was very touched (brought to tears) upon seeing a picture of my Uncle Private Valentine A. Donovan for the first time on this web site! Thank you, thank you to all the people involved in creating and updating this site Since he died 12 yrs before I was born, in the battle of HK, this is the only way I can feel connected to him
