These lists provide the names of the individual soldiers by regiment who left Vancouver on 1941 October 27th and were on the casualty lists provided by the Department of National Defence on 1941 December 26th as members who were at Hong Kong. The total number is 1977 soldiers including Gander, the mascot for the Royal Rifles of Canada. The list provides the names, rank, regimental number, unit, company, platoon and where they were from. The company, platoon and place where they were from is based on the information I have at this time:
I have been trying to develop photo albums of all the 'C' Force soldiers. There are separate albums for The Royal Rifles
of Canada, The Winnipeg Grenadiers and Brigade Headquarters. The albums show a picture for each soldier as he or she
looked like during World War II. Examples of pages from each group can seen by pressing
here.
