More Funds are Needed

The design and construction of the Memorial Wall has proven to be a very costly venture, particularly for a small organization such as ourselves. Most of the funds were donated by friends and family of the HKVCA although there were some generous grants from all levels of government and the business community.

But our job is not yet done and we need your support to not only complete the Wall project but to also carry on the work of telling our story to both students and adults across Canada. Please reach out to neighbours and friends to donate towards this worthwhile project and to help you with this task, this printable  Memorial Wall/fundraising/Brochure (PDF) contains information on our organization and the Memorial Wall project.

For memorials, if the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Memorial Wall, there are donor cards that may be used. Example

Engaging the interest of local Corporations and agencies in our Memorial Wall is a great way for us to make progress and we will acknowledge these donations on this web site. Want to help in this effort? Please contact the Committee who have packages prepared to help you.
